Subscription Box Review | Boxcitement (May)

Boxcitement… such an awesome name for a subscription box!  That’s exactly how I feel when I get a subscription box through the post…!

What is it?
Boxcitement is a monthly subscription box that brings you an exclusive collection of quality stationery items, crafting and wrapping accessories and a range of stylish gifts.  All items are limited editions and are suitable for giving as gifts or keeping for yourself as a regular treat. Every box is based on a different theme and is aimed at surprising and delighting you.

Sounds good, eh? 🙂

How does it work?
You can subscribe monthly or save money by purchasing upfront subscriptions for 3, 6 or 12 months. You can cancel anytime with no obligation. UK postage and packing is included.  You can also purchase one-off boxes if there’s something in particular that has taken your fancy.

What’s in the box?
The theme for the May box was “All The fun of The Fayre” and had lots of creative goodies inside:

Boxcitement

2x note cards
Goldfish brooch
Retro lollipop
Make-your-own bunting
Gift tags
Rubber purse
Shrinkable plastic characters
Exclusive print

Thoughts?
There’s a lot in this box!  I definitely felt the Boxcitement as I opened the tissue paper and saw all the goodies inside.  The theme works really well, and everything tied in together nicely.

I actually opened this box with my 8 year old niece, and she loved it; she loved rummaging through the box to see what was next!  We made the bunting together (a quick, easy and very good quality craft).

The cards and gift tags are cute (I love the ice cream cone on in particular).  The hot pink purse is great for coins and is now my new change purse in my baby-changing bag. 🙂  I haven’t tried the shrinkable plastic characters, but that does look like a fun craft to do, and i’ll upload a pic to Instagram when I do.

How much does it cost?
One-off box (£18), 3 month subscription (£17 per box), 6 month subscription (£16 per box), 12 month subscription (£15 per box)
