Subscription Box Review | Degustabox

July already??  Time for a peek inside another Degustabox!

What is it?
Degustabox is a way of trialing new products.  Every month your Degustabox includes a variety of 10 to 15 surprise products, many of which are completely new to the market.  They work with lots of recognised brands, as well and up and coming companies to supply their customers with the latest treats.

How does it work?
Subscribe online, and you will be sent a surprise box!  You can’t choose what’s in the box (but that’s half the fun of subscription boxes, right??)  You can earn points towards free boxes by encouraging others to purchase a subscription, and by giving your opinion on products in the box via the monthly survey you are sent.

What’s in the box?
The July box is very drink heavy (which is not a bad thing!).

Thoughts?
Once again, everything was packaged together really nicely (any item that could possibly leak was protected in individual bubble wrapped packaging) and I love that it’s just sealed with a single sticker that says “Open Me, Eat Me, Enjoy Me!”

The ALO drink was not my thing at all.  It tasted OK, but it has bits of pulp floating in it, which doesn’t really appeal to me.  The Cracker Drinks carton on the other hand was LUSH.  A beautiful combination of pineapple, coconut & lime; a serving of this drink represents 1 of your 5 a day but is only 57 cals per serving.

Who doesn’t love Choco Leibniz?  These are wonderful!  A pack went straight in my handbag, and the rest stayed in my fridge for when I needed a chocolately/biscuity fix.  Delicious.

The Crispy Seaweed thins from ITSU were a bit too salty-sea flavoured for me!  But I can see how they would make a great little snack if you were indeed that way inclined!

A full sized pack of Jordans Swiss Muesli was next.  It’s great that these are all full size, and when you get something substantial it really makes a difference.  No added sugar in this Swiss Style muesli; you can see why they are one of the market leaders.

Fruit Pastilles always remind me of car journeys as a kid; competing with my brother to see who could keep one in their mouth for the longest before it desolved.  These Infusions are really lovely; 3 delicious fusions of flavours including orange & grapefruit, raspberry & pomegranate and apple & elderflower.

I love Gherkins.  I know they are an acquired taste, but they are just great!  Sharp and tangy.  Perfect.

I loved the bag that the Seabrooks crisps came in; you open them from the front, which makes them a perfect sharable size.  The chicken jalfrezi flavour was definitely there in all its glory!  Spicy!  Yummy!

2 cans of drink from Berrywhite.  Each one of these is one of your five a day.  Organic, with no added sugars.  The lemon & ginger one was right up my street!

Qcumber contains only natural ingredients and is free from artificial sweeteners, colours, preservatives and flavourings.  This would make a great mixer!  Bring on the gin…!

I’ve had the Rejuvenation Water in a previous box – still tastes like a mojito to me!

The Brookside dark chocolate acai with blueberry were very tasty indeed!  I love a bit of dark chocolate, and this made a great snack.

When you think of vinegar, you think of Sarsons!  So who better to bring out a balsamic vinegar?  I used this as a salad dressing, and it was ace.

How much does it cost?
