Review | Degustabox

The lovely people at Degustabox sent me their April box to review.  Degustabox claim to “find the best new food products by leading well known brands and deliver them directly to you!”  So let’s see!

What is it?
Degustabox is a way of trialing new products.  Every month your Degustabox includes a variety of 10 to 15 surprise products, many are completely new to the market.  They work with lots of recognised brands, as well and up and coming companies to supply their customers with the latest treats.

How does it work?
Subscribe online, and you will be sent a surprise box!  You can’t choose what’s in the box (but that’s half the fun of subscription boxes, right??)  You can earn points towards free boxes by encouraging others to purchase a subscription, and by giving your opinion on products in the box.

Thoughts?
This box was such a wonderful treat to receive.  Everything was packaged really nicely and safely (any item that could possibly leak was protected in individual bubble wrapped packaging).  It’s the box that just keeps on giving!  The Apple & Mint Rejuvenation Water reminded me of a mojito; mint flavours, combined with fresh apple.  The Veetee microwave rice and Levi Roots Jerk Coat’n Cook Sauce were combined to make a tasty dinner of stir-fried pork, peppers and courgettes.  The Parle Rusk was not to my taste, but my little boy loved them.  He loved the  Bebeto mini fruit strings, and the Milkybar Milk & Crunchy too.  The Sea Salt, Garlic & Rosemary Popchips made a yummy evening snack, washed down with the Pimm’s Cider Cup.  I didn’t know quite how to take the Green Lady Sparkling Tea; it was certainly refreshing, and not something that I would normally have picked up in the shop.  I will be baking with the Canderel Sugarly; I look forward to seeing how a cake comes out using this sugar substitute!

It’s a great box, and well worth getting if you want to try new products.

How much does it cost?
£12.99 per month incl. delivery.  No commitment, and you can cancel at any time.
